EMS Field Supervisor/Instructor
Responsible to University Health Services Manager of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for teaching and administering Emergency Medical Technician courses and other EMS-related programs and courses at the basic and advanced levels; providing basic and advanced life support to patients at the scene and during transport; and planning and managing EMS special event operations to include on-site supervision. Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus one year of work-related experience. Requires Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic with active medical command privileges, Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services Instructor, Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, International Trauma Life Support Instructor/Prehospital Trauma Life Support Instructor and successful completion of an Emergency Vehicle Operators Course. Successful candidate must have recent teaching experience and excellent interpersonal skills. A $1,000.00 sign-on bonus is available. Relocation reimbursement is also available. All applicants must be 18 years of age and have certification as a PA Paramedic w/Medical Command, EVOC, CPR, PALS, ACLS, BTLS and a valid PA drivers license.
